New record of Pygmy Cormorant close to Xinjiang border

Two days ago group of Pygmy Cormorant (Phalacrocorax pygmaeus) was found near Taldykrgan city not far from the Kazakhstan - Xinjiang border. This record means birds of this species can be observed in Ili river basin including Xinjiang territory. 2018年5月31日，新疆观鸟会理事土拨鼠等在观鸟过程中发现暌违88年之久的鸟种——沙色朱雀Carpodacus stoliczkae，此次发现系该鸟种自1930年以后在新疆的首次确切记录。
