notes	托克逊县城海拔0米，东面是-154米的艾丁湖。这里地理位置特殊殊-处在南北疆交界点，3月上旬即开春，麦苗返青，而此时北疆雪没化完，到3月底才开春麦苗返青。这20多天空档期，有大批从印巴的越冬地北迁的灰鹤在托克逊县夏乡一带的麦田里觅食，歇息，等待北部春天的到来。灰鹤每年3月中上旬开始迁来，下旬达到高峰，随后陆续北迁，4月中上旬迁移结束。2005年4月9日我们第一次来时，只看到了50多只。灰鹤食量较大，几千只每天要吃掉大量麦苗，给当地农民造成损失不小，据我们当地农民交流，他们对此还算宽容，虽然很无奈，但灰鹤是保护动物，且体貌高雅，基本没人干扰他们。去年我们找点时，一位维吾尔老大爷对我们很警惕，以为是打鸟的，经解释才打消疑虑，告诉我们地点。
