notes	艾里克湖是准葛尔盆地西部鸟类迁徙通道上最重要的湖之一,位于乌伦古湖和艾比湖连线的中间.上世纪末由于和克拉玛依工业用水相争,曾经一度干涸,后来引额济克工程(修了一条运河把额尔齐斯河的水引到克拉玛依)完工,才有稳定的水域面积.西岸入水口有大面积的芦苇丛,椐当地人说有鹈鹕繁殖(6月中旬有目击),从湖里丰富的鱼类,大面积的芦苇以及受人干扰很少来看,应该是新疆为数不多的适合鹈鹕繁殖的地点. 值得一提的是湖边的乌尔禾镇名气很大,除魔鬼城,恐龙化石外,这里还是新疆吃野生动物最猖獗的地方:盘羊,北山羊,狼,黄羊,野驴,雪鸡,雪兔,大鸨等无所不包,在"食野族"里颇富盛名,不乏从乌鲁木齐驱车400余公里去尝鲜者;经营者很隐蔽,必须有道内人带去才能见"真货",好似贩毒之流---近年来有关部门接举报多次调查均无大的进展,依然名身声在外.当地人对肉多的鸟很熟悉,大鸨被称为一"锅",极为形象.他们对类似晚上用手电筒照,木棍打,用麻袋装沙鸡的往事津津乐道. 趣事:向导说这里有雪鸡,他对雪鸡身上图案的描述很清晰,竟符合新疆分布的3种雪鸡里最珍稀的阿尔泰雪鸡的特征,便翻开野外手册第一页让他认,他直指阿尔泰雪鸡,我说不可能吧,第一这附近地处戈壁,数百公里内都没雪山何来雪鸡,第二阿尔泰雪鸡只在阿尔泰山有分布,极其稀少,有资料称目前阿尔泰山发现的在50只以下;向导笑了,很自信地说"你的资料不对,我们这里每年吃掉的就不止这个数,都是阿勒泰来的"."晕"!或许餐厅老板们对阿尔泰雪鸡数量的统计更有权威性.
