notes	白头硬尾鸭在乌市周边的分布调查之一。通过对发现3只白头硬尾鸭的生境特点进行观察和分析，以及参考waxwing托人寄来的相关资料后，我们总结了白头硬尾鸭选择繁殖地的一些初步规律：1）水域周边必须要有一定宽度的芦苇丛；2）中小水域，大的湖泊/水库不喜欢；3）可能更喜欢城市下游的有芦苇的小水域--富营养化食物充足。我们尝试根据这些要素对乌市周边的水域做一次普查。这段时间的目标是西山的6个水域。结果不错，又发现了2个点有白头27只。为便于观察进行了编号：乌鲁木齐首次发现地点为WLMQ-1,二次和三次发现地点为WLMQ-2和WLMQ-3。后两个点的详细介绍如下： A）WLMQ--2环境简介：湖面呈不规则四边行，环湖公路长5.3公里，水面估计在2000亩左右，水深不详，海拔约850米，四面环山；水质较好，主要靠雨水补给，东面有少量泉水，湖水基本无污染；湖西面是采石场，卡车频繁路过湖西岸，西北岸有工人据点，有一个土建工程正施工----周边环境对白头有一定影响（但似乎并不大）；湖面的周边有3--4处较大的连贯芦苇丛，还有几处较小的苇丛。 B）WLMQ--2的白头硬尾鸭情况：观察到22只，其中成雌8只，成雄11只，亚成雄3只。按活动范围分为4个小群：湖东南苇丛9只（4成雄，1雄亚成，4雌）；湖西苇丛5只（2成雄，1雄亚成，2雌）；湖北苇丛6只（4成雄，1雄亚成，1雌）；湖东北苇丛2只（1成雄，1雌）。经常集小群活动，似乎有稳定的领地划分，从未见飞行。 C）WLMQ--3环境简介：位于WLMQ--2以北约500米处，地处凹坑，象是一个废弃的鱼塘，面积在30亩左右，水质较好，主要靠雨水补给；水面北部有苇丛（宽度在数米），干扰较少。 D）WLMQ--3的白头硬尾鸭情况：观察到5只，其中成雌1只，成雄3只，亚成雄1只--特征各有差异，可以一一区别。注：6月13日4人观察，6月15日及16日上午我又去把白头硬尾鸭的数量做了多次核实。
